Filtration

On-board oil filtration system that keeps the oil in engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and gear boxes cleaner than when it was new while also absorbing water. The filter achieves this by filtering particles in the fluids down to 1 micron.

When using the system, the undesirable elements in your lube oil like dirt, ash, soot, water, and other particle contaminants that can cause acid problems affecting TBN levels are removed. The system does this while leaving the valuable additives and minimizing any accelerated wear to components. By implementing this system companies are finding that they are extending their oil drains anywhere from 5 to 10 times which is dramatically reducing maintenance costs. Coupled with the “Green” benefits of reducing your waste oil and minimizing your carbon footprint on the planet, our system is a great fit for companies sustainability efforts as well.

 


How It Works
The Precision filter cartridge is a tightly would long fiber paper product made from specific trees that allow the absorption action of the long fibers to draw the water from the oil without surrendering the ability to filter the oil through its dense fibers.  The paper has only been pulped once to maintain its strength but to allow the cartridge to be manufactured.  The cartridge employs a 4 –stage filtration process.  The main body of the cartridge is made from the long fiber paper described above which is rated to 3-microns absolute.  Approximately half way down the cartridge, another 1 micron disk is inserted to help even further increase the cartridge efficiency levels.  This disk helps to further reduce the ISO cleanliness levels of the oil and is especially helpful in engine applications that have soot issues, like the EGR engines.
